Spot the Difference Horses is an unexpectedly delightful and challenging puzzle book that brings a unique twist to visual brain teasers. From the first puzzle, it’s clear that this isn’t your average “spot the difference” collection. The author has crafted a variety of puzzles that are as visually stimulating as they are mentally engaging. One standout example was the first puzzle, which tested my attention to detail and left me stumped after only finding four out of five differences!
One of the more intriguing puzzle formats includes identifying which of six nearly identical horses stands out from the rest—a task I personally found incredibly difficult. It’s a true testament to the level of detail and thought put into each challenge. Even puzzles marked as “easy” offered a serious workout for the brain.
My personal favorite was Puzzle 26, which focused solely on comparing horse eyes. Unlike the others, which included busy scenes or multiple animals, this one zeroed in on a single feature, making it more manageable and fun.
An added bonus throughout the book is the “Did You Know?” sections, offering fascinating facts about horses that add educational value and spark curiosity.
While the need to flip to the back for answers might be a slight inconvenience, it doesn’t detract from the overall enjoyment. I recommend starting with a few easy puzzles before taking on the more difficult ones. For horse lovers and puzzle enthusiasts alike, this book is a fun and stimulating way to pass the time. Highly recommended!
